For the fourth year running we will be using Childerditch Lane again for our hill climb, it will start at 10:00 at the bottom of Childerditch Lane on the north (Brentwood) side of the A127, and is for club members only. Gateway had their first taster of riding the Olympic park velodrome as a group on Sunday and it was a hit. Nearly 30 riders turned up to hire kit and bikes to have a go at a taster style group session. Coach Core Apprenticeship Opportunity

A message from our friends at Active Essex Hi, The Royal Foundation alongside Active Essex have a number of Coach Core Apprenticeship opportunities for individuals aged between 16 – 24 who are not in any current further education, employment or training upon the start date of the programme. It is a 12 month programme for individuals who have an interest and are passionate about sport and coaching. At the end of the programme individuals will leave with recognised qualifications, new skills, knowledge and a wealth of experience working as a trainee sports coach plus the opportunity to attend events unique to this programme.
