On 20th August there will be a club ride to the Blue Egg This ride will be suitable for the Intermediate and Advanced groups and will be at a steady pace of 15-16mph. There were 10 of us who set off last Sunday, including several who had not ridden with us before. The weather was perfect as we made our way along the Mardyke. Club Welfare Officer

Gateway Cycling still need someone to volunteer to be our Club Welfare Officer. The role is to promote the club/organisation’s policy and procedures for the protection of children and vulnerable adults. Over the last year the club’s junior membership has grown and this growth is expected to continue, especially as we now coach young people. Even without BC making a CWO mandatory it is still necessary for us to have someone in this role. If you want to be part of this club’s growth and continued success and this is a role you would be interested then please contact myself or the club secretary, or come talk to one of us at the next club night.
