Recreational Ride to Kent Saturday 4th July
David Fish will be leading a gentle paced ride over to Rochester on Saturday July 4th. We will be on quiet country lanes and trails suitable for mtbs and hybrids. Meet up at the Tilbury riverside landing stage for the ferry to Gravesend at 10.00am for the 10.15am ferry. Total distance will be around 25-30 miles with several stops. Bike Week – Seaside Special – Ride Report
Nine riders met up this morning at Chalkwell for the Seaside Special. There were seven Gateway members and two guests. Frances led the train and we had a gentle ride down to Uncle Tom’s Cabin. After some refreshments everyone was keen to extend the ride so we carried on past the Garrison estate and looped round via Barling. Bike Week – Thameside – Ride Report
There were 10 of us all together meeting up outside Stanford Station. The weather was warm and perfect for an evening ride. It was only a short distance to get to the Nature Park and soon we were riding along off road trails. Bike Week 2015 – 20th June – Seaside Special
A late, but very welcome, addition to our Bike Week events will be a Seaside ride on Saturday 20th June. Join us on the Seaside Special from Chalkwell to Shoebury and back. This ride is suitable for all ages and abilities. Meet outside Chalkwell railway station at 10.30am and we’ll ride along the seafront to Shoebury where we will stop for refreshments before returning. So don’t forget your money, you don’t want to be the one missing out on a Rossi! Helmets must be worn and under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Easy Ride Sunday 14th June
Hi all After last week’s Thurrock Marathon our Easy Ride will be back to its normal start location in Bulphan at the primary school in Fen Lane, and at the usual time of 09:30.
