This Bank Holiday Monday join Gateway, and ride leader David Fish, on a ride to Upminster. Recreational Ride to Kent – Ride Report
We met up at the Quayside to get the ferry over to Gravesend. Even at 10.00am it was already quite hot on what turned out to be a glorious summer day. Bike Week – Seaside Special – Ride Report
Nine riders met up this morning at Chalkwell for the Seaside Special. There were seven Gateway members and two guests. Frances led the train and we had a gentle ride down to Uncle Tom’s Cabin. After some refreshments everyone was keen to extend the ride so we carried on past the Garrison estate and looped round via Barling. Bike Week – Thameside – Ride Report
There were 10 of us all together meeting up outside Stanford Station. The weather was warm and perfect for an evening ride. It was only a short distance to get to the Nature Park and soon we were riding along off road trails. Bike Week 2015 – 20th June – Seaside Special
A late, but very welcome, addition to our Bike Week events will be a Seaside ride on Saturday 20th June. Join us on the Seaside Special from Chalkwell to Shoebury and back. This ride is suitable for all ages and abilities. Meet outside Chalkwell railway station at 10.30am and we’ll ride along the seafront to Shoebury where we will stop for refreshments before returning. So don’t forget your money, you don’t want to be the one missing out on a Rossi! Helmets must be worn and under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Saturday (21st Feb) Leisure Ride
This Saturday 21st February 2015, (a bit ‘last minute’ I’m afraid!) I’m planning to ride the tow path of Regents Canal. I’ll be taking the 09.48, train from Grays rail station, it’s platform 3. New Year’s Day Ride
Dear All I’m planning the Gateway Cycling New Years Day Ride for Thursday 1st January 2015, meeting 10.00 for a 10.15 start.
