Recreational Ride – Erith and O2 – Saturday 22nd August

Join Frances and Jeff for a south of the river recreation ride from Erith to The O2 and back. We’ll be meeting at Erith train station at 10am and will take the Thames path to North Greenwich. We’ll stop for lunch at the O2, where you will have a choice of O2 restaurants and barsfor food and refreshments.  We’ll then return along the same route back to Erith.

This ride is suitable for all abilities and age groups. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The route is ok for all bikes, although there are some segments of dirt track. Make sure your bike is in good working order and that you are wearing a cycle helmet. You should also have a pump, puncture repair kit and a spare inner tube. We also recommend that you bring a drink and a mobile phone. You’ll need money for refreshments and lunch. If you are not a club member then please inform the Ride Leader of your emergency contact.

We’ll update the club calendar if the details of this event change:

Hi Jeff. Is this ride still going ahead as there is a replacement bus service on that date between Dartford and Erith stations.

This ride is still going ahead. There is also no ferry service on Saturday so Frances and I are going to get the train to Chafford and the use the free car transport over the bridge.
Ride from Dartford to meet everyone at Erith.
