About twenty of us gathered at Bulphan on a perfect sunny Sunday morning. The slightly speedier riders set off as usual and us leisure riders at a steadier pace. Gateway Sunday Ride to Hyde Hall
A lovely sunny Sunday morning ride. We split into 2 groups of 6 or 7 and made our own way to Hyde Hall (although both groups went the same way!) Gateway Ride to Kent – 25th July
We are planning a short ride to Kent tomorrow, Saturday 25th June 2022, taking the 10.00 am Tilbury Ferry to Gravesend. The route is out of Gravesend towards Sole Street, Cobham and a coffee at Shorne Country Park. On to Higham and Cliffe Café for food, nosh, nose bag… The fairly quick-ish ride back to Gravesend and hopefully an ice cream on the Promenade, and the ferry homeward.. All welcome. An excellent turn out by Gateway and the inhabitants of Thurrock and surrounding areas to take part in the first TCM charity ride in several years. GATEWAY FAMILY RIDE from Grays to RSPB Rainham Marshes
The weather was excellent and the company too. The 5 intrepid committee members set off from the Civic Hall at about the specified time. The route out to the RSPB was one that we have used many times before. The way through the Mardyke Woods was thankfully dry – but a bit dusty.
