EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

Gateway Cycling EGM Friday 8th July 2022

You may know that following several recent requests for a volunteer, we have been unable to find someone to fill the post of Treasurer for the club. The good news is that with a bit of lateral thinking, Jeff Bell has stepped aside as Chairman to act as Treasurer and Alan Hale has agreed to become the Chairman.

Without the 3 executive positions being filled, the club cannot continue and will be wound up. In order to formalise matters and therefore to keep the club going, we need to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting to vote for the changes and election of candidates – this will take place on the next scheduled club night.

IF WE DO NOT HAVE A QUORUM AT THIS MEETING THEN THE CLUB WILL FOLD

Please attend the meeting to show support for the club and to ensure that the club can continue.
