To all Gateway Cycling members,

The committee would like to wish all of our members a happy New Year and an enjoyable, successful and safe year of cycling for 2023.

Just a reminder that membership fees for 2023 are due on 1st January and the committee request that you pay for your membership before the end of the month. This helps keep our records up to date and ensures that we declare our membership numbers correctly with British Cycling.

The fees have stayed the same for the last few years and are currently excellent value at:

£20 Individual membership
£30 Family Membership

Membership fees can be paid in three ways:

1. Pay by bank transfer into the club account:

• Sort code 30-18-34
• Account number 01559612

Please include your name as the reference

If there are any changes to phone no., email etc. you will need to update details by:

• providing details by email to GeneralSecretary@GatewayCycling.org.uk
• filling in an updated membership form on the club website.
• updating details yourself on the British Cycling website

2. Pay by cash or cheque at the January Club Night

Friday 13th January at:  Orsett Churches Centre, High Road, Orsett. RM16 3ER.

3. Pay directly into the British Cycling club website

by using the link and clicking the ‘BUY CLUB MEMBERSHIP‘ button.                                          (Please note that there is an additional £1 fee to BC for these direct transactions on their website). When you become a member of or renew your membership with Gateway Cycling you will be registered for an online account with British Cycling. We will provide British Cycling with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called My Dashboard) on the British Cycling website. British Cycling will use your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice which can be accessed at:

British Cycling will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your dashboard (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with British Cycling, please contact compliance@britishcycling.org.uk.”
