Thurrock Cycle Marathon Sunday 4th June
0900 for start time of 09:30 Location: Thurrock Civic Hall, Grays The Rotary Club of Mar Dyke Valley are organising the Thurrock Cycle Marathon from Thurrock Civic Hall in Blackshots Lane starting 9.30 on Sunday 4th June. The event is a sponsored ride to raise money for Rotary Club and local charities. Despite other counts and descriptions to the contrary, this ride set off from Bulphan with 7 riders. Nick M. dived off early on. Out via Doesgate Lane and Lower Dunton Road and across the A127. Fortunately the boot fair was closed so no problem there. Then up the hill at Rectory Road towards Billericay. Following on from the adjournment of the Annual General Meeting on 14th April, I am writing to remind all club members that the AGM has been rescheduled to: Friday 12th May at Orsett Churches Hall.
