Following the Christmas Beer & Sandwiches… by Jon Lane

Hi All.

Despite the small distraction of the footy’ on the big screen… (Holland V Argentina…) (-: All went pretty jolly well at the Kings Arms – Christmas ‘Club Night’. Much good natured racket and noise, heads together, we were able to chat ok and enjoy the company and sandwich buffet. Being a very cold evening it was really good to see about twenty plus of us together, grateful after the two year covid break. Some talk of a similar  gathering/get together in the summer but in these fast changing times –  let’s see what 2023 brings first… I hope you all got home safely and thanks again to everyone for making it great night out. Cheers! 😋

Coming to the GWC website v soon, courtesy of the ‘Recreational Mob’… that’s Dave F. and co’… the annual GWC – NY Day ride. SUNDAY 1.1.2023… 10.15 – 10.30 start, Blackshots Leisure Centre steps, a family ride to Purfleet… Watch this space!
