Gateway Wednesday Ride 7th September

Nine riders (I think) plus a non-riding, recovering Bob on today’s midweek social ride, all made it to the café in their chosen groups and by their preferred routes and after plenty of chat the homeward ride was completed in the hope of the weather not turning wet.

A day of sun, overcast sky and powerful winds. Jeff, Terry and myself formed a trio. At Upminster we acquired Andy for some miles. I had a mini pump event on Dunnings Lane when my cobbled together restraint for the pump failed to stop it extending down to the bottom bracket 😲 – anyway I stopped and rectified the situation by putting the pump in my pocket 👍.  At Upminster we acquired Andy for some miles.
