Vintage Tweed Bike Ride Sunday 11th September

Having attended the Thurrock Cycle Forum last night the notices that Dan Lowe uploaded to Facebook and WhatsApp might need a bit of clarification…This will be a good opportunity for the club to show support for Thurrock Council’s Road Safety Team by riding with them at 1pm from Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope for a 10km ride.

It could be a nice way to wind down from a longer road or recreational ride and show people how nice, friendly and relaxing it is to ride a bike and hopefully show involvement in the community.

The flyer below gives all the information you need:

They’ve teamed up with Passionate about Hardie Park for a Vintage/Tweed Bike Ride on Sunday 11 September at 1pm meeting outside the cafĂ© in Hardie Park.

Turn back the clocks, dress up and join in a free leisurely bike ride around the local roads of #StanfordleHope and #Corringham.

This ride is suitable for adults – children can take part in a short ride at the start but must be accompanied by an adult.
