Midweek Ride 2nd Oct

Thirteen riders assembled at Orsett  today for usual Berwich ponds loop and out to Puddledock for early lunch.Twelve set off at 10 am but as I hav’nt ridden for four weeks due to my accident I drove to Thames Chase with cross bike and rode a couple of circuits of the park and up and down Pike lane to get the feel of things again and happily felt no ill effects.Down to the cafe where we were joined by Jon L who had just completed another one of his four hour rides up river to Greenwich and back..Usual chat including Xmas lunch which has been booked for Dec 11th more details to follow when available, fifteen takers so far so a few places still available, you dont have to be a wednesday  group member but any places left will be filled on a first come first served basis, names needed ASAP, can be advised on WhatsApp if preferred. The weather today was excellent but looks all down hill for a few days so lets hope it improves again by next week.
