FAMILY CYCLE RIDE SATURDAY 8TH JUNE

As part of bike week Gateway Cycling is organising a family bike ride to the Thameside Nature Park. Meet up at the Hardie Park cafe at 1.45pm for a 2pm departure. There will be a stop at the visitors centre for refreshments etc.

Make yourselves known to the ride leader when you arrive. The route is mainly off road and will be at a very gentle pace.  The ride to the visitors’ centre and back is around 7 miles.

Your bike must be roadworthy, please check the bike the day before departure to avoid problems on the day. Please ensure that you have a puncture repair kit, pump and a spare inner tube. We also recommend that you bring along some cash for refreshments and a mobile phone. The club recommends that you wear a helmet. Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanies by a responsible adult.
