Nine riders plus one by car again this week, a fairly constant number for this time of year although the personnel changes week by week mainly due to group members taking winter sports holidays etc.As usual small groups soon formed on the road one of three very fast indeed actually beating those of us who took a short cut to the cafe stop,this being a first in my memory going back several years.Chat this week included a proposal from JL that if the weather holds we make a repeat run out to the pub in Upnor Kent in the very near future,so keep an eye out for this.I have to say this was one of our most enjoyable rides last year especially the beer and the food.The weather today was so good we were able to dine outside in the sunshine.With DR on the front again the return was quite pacey but with a mostly helpful wind we were mainly able to stay in contention and enjoy the trip home.
