CPR awareness training at our March Club Night
A date for your diary! Come along to club night on March 8th where trainers from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance will be carrying out a CPR awareness training session. This is a great opportunity for you to be shown how to do CPR in the comfort of our usual venue Orsett Churches Centre and to practice on a dummy. They will also be bringing some defibrillators to show us how to use those devices we often see in stations, by village halls and in disused telephone boxes. If you have already been on a first aid course, this is an opportunity to refresh your skills, if you haven’t done CPR before, now is your chance to learn. You never know when a friend, relative, work colleague or even a cycling buddy may have a heart attack and, surprisingly enough, they can happen to some of the fittest and most unlikely people. We hope to see you there.
