Gateway Velodrome Session

There was a great turnout for the Gateway session at the Velodrome last Wednesday, I think I counted 17 riders.

For some, it was a real training session and for others it was a first try out on the track. The 17 were split into two groups, the “confident ones” and the “less confident ones”, as defined by the Velodrome instructors. Instruction from the staff was clear and encouraging and there were lots of very sweaty (apart from Frances who was glowing) and smiling faces during and certainly by the end of the session.

It was a bit difficult getting action shots, as the riders were going so fast, but Tim and I did manage to get some photos and a few bits of video.
