Bob Drake’s 80th birthday

At the Gateway Club Night last Friday, we celebrated Bob Drake’s 80th birthday. Bob, his membership number is No.2, has been with the club since its inception and many of you will have ridden with him over the years. Bob’s mid week ride, starting at 10.00 every Wednesday at Orsett, with a stop at the Puddle Duck cafe, has become part of Gateway Cycling “folklore”. He is an inspiration to us, long may he continue.
