Gateway Cycling Coaching

Starting on the 16th April Gateway Cycling will begin cycle coaching sessions for children aged 7 – 11. These weekly sessions will be all about developing bike skills whilst having fun. The sessions will take place at Hathaway Academy in a safe, off-road environment with our volunteer British Cycling qualified coaches.

Each session will include a bike and clothing safety check, warm-up and planned coaching activities, which will progressively develop bike handling skills, improve fitness and introduce riders to different types of cycle racing. The activities will be appropriate for the age and skill of all the riders taking part, to make sure that we develop skills and confidence gradually.

The coaching session will be open to members and non-members of Gateway Cycling.

Where will these sessions take place?
Hathaway Academy, Hathaway Rd, Grays RM17 5LL

When are they?
The first session will be on Saturday 16th April from 9:00am to 10:15am
They will then continue weekly during term-time. Dates will be added to the club calendar

How much will they cost?
Members – £3.50 per session
Non-members – £5 per session
