Gateway Recreation Ride – Waltham Abbey – Saturday 3rd Oct

This Saturday, 3rd October, David Fish will be leading a recreational ride up the Lee Valley to Waltham Abbey.

We’ll be meeting at Grays station at 08:30am and will take the train to Limehouse. We will ride along the cycle path up to Waltham Abbey and around some of the paths in the area. Most of the ride will be on cycle paths .
We will ride back to Blackhorse Road station and take the train back to Grays changing at Barking.

The total distance will be around 35 miles at a slow pace, Suitable for mtbs and hybrids. As usual on these rides there will be several stops for refreshments and sightseeing.

Due to the number of trains we will be catching a travel card will be needed. If there are enough of us we can get a group ticket at a reduced cost.
