Gateway Recreation Ride: Waltham Abbey

Details:

Meet up at Grays station by 8.30am to catch either the 8.48am or 8.54 trains to Limehouse.
We will ride along the cycle path up to Waltham Abbey and around some of the paths in the area. Most of the ride will be on cycle paths .
We will ride back to Blackhorse Road station and take the train back to Grays changing at Barking.

The total distance will be around 35 miles at a slow pace, Suitable for mtbs and hybrids. As usual on these rides there will be several stops for refreshments and sightseeing.

Due to the number of trains we will be catching a travel card will be needed. If there are enough of us we can get a group ticket at a reduced cost.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order and that you come along with a cycle helmet. Please bring along a pump, puncture kit and a spare inner tube. It is also recommended that you also have a drink and a mobile phone with you. If you are not a club member please inform the Ride Leader of an emergency contact.
