TdF Camping

Received from a camp site near Harrogate (I get a lot of these and this seems the most reasonable):

Are any members of your cycling club considering a visit to the historic spa town of Harrogate on the 5th and 6th July 2014 forThe Tour de France? If so we have a purpose built Campsite at Beckwithshaw CC which may be of interest to them.

With excellent facilities located in the idyllic North Yorkshire countryside and close to the action only 2 miles from Harrogatetown centre where stage one finishes and 2 miles from where the route passes on Sunday we are in the perfect location. With a minimum stay of 2 nights we are offering pitches for tents and motorhomes with private parking from Wednesday 2nd Julyto Monday 7th July 2014.

At £20 per person per night for camping and £75 for a motor home we believe we are offering excellentvalue for money for all cycling enthusiasts. Our clubhouse is open for cooked breakfasts and home-made evening meals with tea & coffee available throughout the day. The Clubhouse Bar will be open until 11.00pm each evening with the opportunity to play Pool and Darts. Live coverage of the Tour deFrance and the World Cup Quarter Finals together with Burgers and Hotdogs will also be available throughout the evening

Book early as reservations are limited. For full details please view our web site at

If you could pass this on to anyone who you think might be interested that would be much appreciated.

Regards BCC .
