Visit to the Greedy Chef Café April 2018

As usual for the last few weeks the Saturday was fine and sunny but Sunday 15^th April was cool and cloudy.

Eight of us set off from Bulphan on a gentle recreation ride, Frances H, Jon, Sharon, Dave, Bert , Steve, Matt and Caroline.

Heading through Laindon and Basildon we reached North Benfleet. The cafe is on Pound Lane which we rode up and down a few times until we located the cafe.

The cafe itself is very popular and was already quite busy despite having the “closed” sign up.

Inside it was welcoming and a great place to stop and have a chat.

The food was delicious and inexpensive.

Afterwards we set of returning to Thurrock via Pitsea, Vange and Stanford le Hope.

All in all it was a nice , gentle ride with great company.
