Gateway Summer Time Trial – Week 12

Only 5 riders this evening.

I’m not surprised though, with the weather looking changeable, and the uncertainty about the road surface in Fen Lane, I wasn’t expecting many people to turn up. Richard W, Matt S, Chris M, Paul E, and Dave L (and Mrs Dave L briefly) all turned out for this evenings TT. No PB’s for this year were posted but Matt was only 4 seconds adrift of his best time, and Dave L knocked nearly a minute off of last year’s best time on his first outing this year.

Thanks go to Dave R for giving up his time to marshal, and to Ken for driving us nuts as usual 🙂

Roadworks are still continuing in Fen Lane, so we’ll play it by ear for next week regarding whether they lay down the top dressing of gravel. Please do the same as this week and check the TT thread on the forum for up to date news on Fen Lane.
