London to Paris Charity Ride

On the 12th of September 2012 I was out training on my bike when I was involved in a road traffic accident. I got hit by two vans and ended up underneath one of them in a ditch, I was air lifted to hospital and sustained 6 broken bones. Both bones in my right leg and 4 bones in my pelvis were broken and I’ve spent 6 months so far recovering.

Now myself (Ben Lamb, 17) and my friend Michael Stair (17) are riding nearly 300miles in three days, starting on the 19th July, from London to Paris to raise as much money as possible for the Essex Air Ambulance.

The Essex Air Ambulance runs purely on donations from the public to keep it in the air and save lives. It costs around £250,000 a month and £220 an hour to fuel the helicopter.

This is why we need your support so please donate generously to this fantastic cause!

Thank you
