Saturday 26th, another Dave F ‘Special’, a long-awaited Kent ride, with 9 of us driving or riding to Tilbury Ferry landing stage for the crossing to Gravesend. Train to Barking. Cycled to Yurt Cafe for brunch. Cycled to Parliament Square to soak up the atmosphere. People everywhere including bedding down in tents and bus shelters along the route ready for tomorrow. Road signs refer to expected disruption tomorrow due to ‘major event’.
