Sunday Club rides
As we are now in Spring, club rides will start at 9am. Please aim to arrive in Bulphan for 8:45. There will usually be three or four groups. Leisure 20 to 30 miles @ 10 to 12mph Intermediate 30 to 40 miles @ 14 to 16mph Advanced 50 miles plus @ 16 to 18mph If any group is more than ten it may split up to avoid blocking up the road. Santa Ride 2016

Gateway Annual Hill Climb 2016 – Sunday 6th November
For the fourth year running we will be using Childerditch Lane again for our hill climb, it will start at 10:00 at the bottom of Childerditch Lane on the north (Brentwood) side of the A127, and is for club members only. Gateway @ the Velodrome & Octobers Club Night
Gateway had their first taster of riding the Olympic park velodrome as a group on Sunday and it was a hit. Nearly 30 riders turned up to hire kit and bikes to have a go at a taster style group session. Coaching catered to the group was well received with people progressing much quicker than the public sessions and confidence was high given that you know the wheels you are following. Gateway Summer TT Week 12
The Gateway time trial is now nearing the end of the season, and with that comes the Summer harvest. The farmers tractors were charging up and down the lanes to get the harvest in and some riders had a few hold ups, three had to be held on the start line due to a combine harvester working it’s way up Dunnings lane, and a couple had to halt to let tractors past.
