Poppy Charity Ride – Rememberance Sunday
For One Sunday Only… Poppy Charity Ride – Rememberance Sunday Something that was mentioned at the AGM, was a charity ride. Having listened to many suggestions, all gratefully received, the Committee is pleased to announce the ride, in aid of The Royal British Legion, will be on Sunday 14th November, Remembrance Sunday. Ride start time will be 9.30 at Bulphan or whatever has been agreed with your ride group(s), with a cafe stop at Youngs Cafe, St Mary’s Lane. The idea is to meet at 10.50, for a 2 minute silence at 11.00. Riders can then stay for tea and chat or carry on for a longer ride. Wednesday ride 3rd November
From Bob D Sixteen riders at Orsett this morning for the midweek ride. Frances and Vicki flying the flag for the ladies as usual and Terry and John joining us at the cafe making a nice three full tables outside in the chilly sunshine chatting away as usual. Gateway Cycling AGM 2021 – 8th October 7:30pm.
Five Reasons for going to the Gateway Cycling AGM on Friday 8th. October at 7.30pm. Because; There’s free pizza. We need to be quorate (that means enough members turn up) otherwise there will have to be another one and so on until enough people do turn up. Turning up does not mean you’ll end up on the committee if you don’t want to. Terry. Honest.
