Recreational Ride – SUNDAY 8th August 2021

From Jon Lane

Dear All

I’m planning a ride this SUNDAY 8th August 2021, meeting at Grays station at 09.00 The weather looks better, less risk of rain. The train timetable appears to be operating normally…

Two choices of route. One around the Regents Canal, coffee at Primrose Hill and onward back towards Limehouse, probably eats and coffee at the popular ‘Yurt Café’. Two. Off at Barking station, Cycle Super Highway Route 1 and a pleasant meander through East London and the café. Ride home either north or south of the Thames, maybe through the Greenwch/Woolwich tunnels and homeward. Should the weather change for the worst then the train’s an alternative. Maybe a good idea to take waterproofs…

As you probably know we’ve ridden this route a few times now, slow and steady and always enjoyed ourselves – so we may see you there… All welcome.

Cheers! 🙂

Jon Lane.
