Gateway Family Ride To Thameside Nature Park – Saturday 9th June

In celebration of bike week this Saturday David Fish will be leading a family ride to Thameside Nauture Park. We’ll meet up at 12.45 at the cafe in Hardie Park, Stanford le Hope for a 1pm start. Make sure you make your self known to the Ride Leader when you arrive.

The route will be mainly off road at a very slow pace, an average of around 7-8mph. As a guide a quick walk would be around 2-3 mph. The ride to the visitors centre and back is around 8 miles.

Your bike must be roadworthy, check your bike the day before to avoid disappointment on the day! You should also have a pump, puncture repair kit and a spare inner tube. We also recommend that you bring a drink, some cash for refreshments and a mobile phone. The club recommends that all riders wear a helmet. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

David Fish will lead and welcomes any help from other club members. If you have any questions about this ride then either pop a comment down below, email a Club Official or send a message via the Contact page or on Facebook.
