Whilst riding across Bulphan Fen today bumped into Russell going in the opposite direction. We decided to ride together to the cafe at Thames Chase for a light lunch and a coffee. After a good old chat we set off in our different directions for home.A good 25 mile ride in cold but beautiful winter weather, all in all a super way to spend a friday in january.                                                Bob D

My Friday ride was a little different.  Off-road, night ride from Coulsdon to Guildford along the North Downs Way. 26 miles of slippery wet mud and freezing temperatures.  Couldn’t feel my fingers by the end, and was limping to the finish pedalling with just my left leg as my right knee had given up.

A little worse for wear today, tried to ride but didn’t get far.  Going to have to rest the knee.

Despite the injury and muddy conditions it was still a great ride with good company.
