If it is the same as last year, there are two routes available – 100km and 40km starting at 09:00. If I find it has changed you will be advised appropriately.

From East Hanningfield, the 100km route follows quiet lanes such as Creephedge Lane and Stow Road to Cold Norton, Althorne and Burnham-on-Crouch before turning north for Asheldham and Tillingham. Back west to Latchingdon, Purleigh, Cock Clarks, Ulting and Hatfied Peveral. There is the little matter of North Hill before passing Danbury and Bicknacre on the way back to East Hanningfield.

The 40km route follows the 100k as far as Althorne before cutting back to Latchingdon, Purleigh and Cock Clarkes. North Hill is avoided by retuning via Hackman’s Lanes Lane and Bicknacre to East Hanningfield.
