Coaches Wanted

As part of our plan to increase junior and family membership and to become a more inclusive club we are hoping to start regular coaching sessions for our young members. For this to take place we are going to need volunteer coaches who have the training and the time to be able to lead these sessions.

Coaches will be trained by British Cycling to either Level 1 or Level 2, depending on previous experience. They will also need an emergency first aid certificate, safeguarding  and protecting children training within the last three years and a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check. The cost of  these will be covered by the club.

If you think you would be suitable for a coaching role, and have the commitment, dedication and time the role requires, then please talk to Gary Earley at club night on Friday 9th Jan or email him at chair@gatewaycycling.org.uk. Please mention any relevant previous experience you may have e.g. Coaching or teaching. We want to book training as soon as possible so please contact Gary by Friday 16th Jan.
