Gateway Summer Time Trial Series – Week 6

Normal service has been resumed

This week 12 riders tried their hand at improving on their previous performances. The weather was lovely and warm again with a light wind from the east which gave a little push from behind down St Marys lane.

France H returned to the fold from last year and bettered her best time from then by 30 seconds, which shows how hard she has worked over the winter and spring months. 4 other riders had a PB for 2014, they were (in no particular order) Dennis G, Paul E, Rob G, and Sam B.

Dennis, Paul, and Rob’s times were better than their fastest times from 2013, as was Frances’, and shows how well you can do when you’ve got a target to chase. Sam didn’t increase his best time from 2013 with a 16:48! but as last year’s time was 16:37 it’s a tough one to crack, he is getting closer though.
